Room 3 were fascinated with the paintings on the ceiling of the Kohanga Reo |
Seeing the carvings and the tools used was impressive . |
The Marae has its own church and this building is very very old. |
The carvings outside the meeting house all tell a story and are very important to the local iwi. It was very interesting hearing what they represented. |
