What a fabulous afternoon we all had. So many fathers came to join in the fun! We were put into teams and then went around three different activities. Sometimes we even had to show our Dads how to play the games and even how to play by the rules! We had so much fun. We think some of the Dads may have been a bit sore the next day as they used muscles they normally don't use. thanks Dads-you are AWESOME!

ALL BLACKS' VISIT
Can you believe it! Riwaka school had a visit from two All Blacks just before the Rugby World Cup began. Ali Williams and Ben Franks flew from Nelson by helicopter and landed on our field. Ben actually went to primary school and high school in Motueka All the students and the teachers were very excited to have such special visitors. We practised tunnel ball and Ali came to watch us and give us some hints. A fabulous time was had by all. GO ALL BLACKS!
WHO LET THE DOGS OUT??
'Who let the dogs out?' This was our Riwaka School Extravaganza item. We learnt the Jump Jam routine and didn't we do well! We had costumes and performed at the High School. Mrs Hall and our parents were so proud of us. We also celebrated Daffodil Day by wearing yellow and raising money for the Cancer Society.
